Hi! I’m Tuyen. That’s pronounced like twin. I am an artist by nature and a photographer by trade. I studied Visual Arts at Loyola University in New Orleans where I met my now husband…the result of a photography assignment that called for shooting a whole roll of film on a stranger. Of course, I used to buy the 36 shot rolls instead of 24, lucky him. Now I enjoy taking silly photos with Spencer when that same time of year rolls around.
I acquired a photojournalistic style of photographing after interning with artist Paul Chan on his production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot in New Orleans. I enjoy narrating the world around me through my photographs and would take great pleasure in doing the same with yours! I’d love to hear from you. So, please, don’t hesitate to contact me!
